NURU’s women's retreat offers a safe and empowering space for women to explore their inner strengths, guided by experienced psychological practitioners. Attendees will gain deeper self-awareness, resilience, and emotional balance through evidence-based therapeutic techniques, as well as holistic wellness practices. This unique retreat fosters connection, growth, and healing, providing tools and strategies to navigate life's challenges with confidence. Attending a NURU retreat is a journey that nurtures your mind, body, and spirit, and you return home feeling revived, refreshed, and restored.

Movement & Mindfulness

Our unique approach integrates low-impact stretching with guided mindfulness and breathwork, designed to promote both mental and physical health. These sessions (facilitated by a physiotherapist or osteopath alongside a psychologist) not only improve flexibility and reduce stress but also foster greater emotional awareness and inner peace. By combining the therapeutic benefits of movement with the power of mindful breathing, you will develop a holistic approach to managing stress and enhancing overall wellbeing.

Couples & Families

 

 We offer a range of workshops and programmes designed for Christian couples and families that are psychologically informed by evidence-based theories and practice. These are bespoke and tailored to the client needs. They can include but are not limited to;


  • Assessing & addressing intimacy in the relationship (Relationship MOT)
  • Parenting in a psychologically informed approach (emotional attunement and responsivity)
  • Navigating different stages of parenthood
  • Assessing and addressing impact of parenthood on mental and emotional wellbeing
  • Identifying what self-care looks like and how it can be different in spouses and parents
  • Teaching strategies of how to prioritise oneself whilst raising children.
